Things To Do

Experience the Arboretum

Come out for a relaxing walk on our trails and experience a variety of native Florida habitats.

The Arboretum is open Saturday and Sundays from 9am to 5pm. Dogs are welcome but need to be leashed and cleaned up after. Check out our Rules & Cautions for more information.

For an easy walk, we recommend the Lake Loop which takes you around our 2 acre lake: Lake Ray. The Ravine Trail rolls along upland forest hills and has spectacular views of our spring-fed ravines. The Jones Creek Trail meanders across bridges over several streams amid the Jones Creek flood plain.

We have educational signs along the trails to inform you about the variety of plants, animals and habitats in the Arboretum.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to see the site and help shape the Arboretum for future generations!

Volunteer to clear trails, map species or serve on a committee. We have on-site volunteer events on the second Saturday of the cool months. And if getting dirty is not your cup of tea -assist on a committee! We are looking for people with all sorts of skills and/or interests. Contact us for more details or with your suggestions.

Donate Materials or Services

We are currently in need of things like hand tools, signage and fencing. Please contact us for more information.
