A Tribute Bench at Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens provides not only a place for visitors to rest and reflect, but also represents a tangible gift that can be enjoyed by all while paying tribute to the honoree.

Purchasing a tribute bench allows you to honor those of your choosing in a meaningful way, and your generosity will add yet another amenity that will enhance the visitor experience at the Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens for years to come.

Details

A bench placed in our commemorative path becomes a tangible part of the Jacksonville Arboretum & Garden’s journey into the future.

Details include:

  • A volunteer installer will have the bench in place four-to-six weeks after the order is made.
  • The Arboretum has determined the life of the tribute bench to be ten years and will maintain the bench as necessary over that time period.
  • Your bench donation is 100 percent tax deductible.
  • Acknowledgment letters will be sent to the donor and the honoree or their family.

Honorees are recognized by name with a custom 2-by-8-inch brass plate embedded on the bench. Each Tribute Bench plaque has a standard of three lines, up to 25 characters per line, which includes spaces. 

Two styles of benches are being installed:

  • Each slab style bench is $2000.
  • Each bench with arms and back is $2500.
